Is now a bad time to mention that I bought a Cray supercomputer and a fifty-inch monitor for Christmas? happy.gif

Can anyone give me a cliffnotes of this whole thread? What's the overall impression of indochino? Worth the money or not really?

In a word, maybe. I think the general consensus is it's a step below Black Lapel in quality, which is roughly equivalent to Thick as Thieves (which is cheaper but has incredibly shitty service and an aesthetic that he really won't deviate from much -- which is fine if you like slightly shorter jackets, a slim fit, and narrow lapels), which is slightly inferior to Suitsupply MTM.

I would only really advocate Indochino if you're shopping one of their high-discount sales, like the BF one where I got 30% off of 2 suits.

I like Chase H's summary. I think it very depends on what you expect. If you are prepared to spend some time on the subject, because you like the idea of ordering MTM suits online, then yes, it can be very much worth it. I agree it's often worth to wait for a good deal and then choose one of the better fabrics (the Vincero line uses Italian Reda). Also, expect a remake or at least bigger alterations for the first suit - it helps if you don't expect it to be perfect right away. Overall, the continue to improve vastly in terms of patterns, fabrics and construction. I think many people who are unhappy with Indochino also don't really know too much about suits and it can be tough as a novice.

Just to let you know, Indochino is doing a promo wit Gilt City, you can get 33% off (it's a combo of suit, shirt, tie, tie bar, pocket square). More details are on my blog here: http://www.indochino-review.com/2013/01/indochino-deal-alert-get-33-off-with.html

Any idea with Indochino's return policy?

You mean with the deal? Returns are still possible - but it may be that the alteration credit will be issued to your coupon, not to your credit card.

That may be the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
