Im looking to buy one brown, one black (budget around 150-180 each) . im not sure whether oxford or derby is better.

All i want is for them to be the same shoe and with real leather .

What do you recommend ?

my first thread here. Thank you

What do you plan on wearing them with?  That will determine whether you need an oxford or derby.

Meermins are the way to go at that price range.

Maybe slightly over but still, worth it.

Im using it for university business casual, but plan to use them when I go out too. What can be used both dress and casual ?

You'd be better off with derbies then.  Allen Edmonds seconds might be your best bet at that price range.  You can ask the guys here http://www.styleforum.net/t/518090/allen-edmonds-appreciation-thread-2016-news-pictures-sizing-accessories-clothing-etc for more info.

No, a minor flaw that most people are unable to even determine what it is.
