Harlem, NY; it is in Manhattan and the "Black capital of the world".

Charleston, South Carolina. I've heard it takes you back 200 years the second you walk into the historica district, and it has such a rich history.

I'm more than happy with Edinburgh right now, but i really do want to live in San Francisco one day. The place look's really relaxed.

Plus I'm sure my Scottish accent would go down well in the States.

That's kinda funny, b/c my #2 and 3 on my list are Edinburgh and SF. Ironic.

From a long-term perspective? Kinda smaller in scope than most people on here, but either Dog Island, St. George Island, or Apalachicola. All in Florida. Wouldn't mind trying Perth, Zanzibar, Santiago (Chile) or BudaPest though.

I live in Charleston currently and the historical district is amazing, and rainbow row is gorgeous. edit: it often smells strongly of horses due to all the carriage tours around certain areas edit again: I realize it says Columbia but that's only because I'm currently enrolled in a University there

It would go down well. Maybe not Love Actually well, but with a minimum of social grace, the Brits/Scots/Irish make quite a killing over here.

And to contribute, I don't really want to settle down anywhere; I've always enjoyed moving and the excitement that comes with learning your way around new places, meeting knew people and experiencing new cultures.

Edinburgh Castle from the Grassmarket area of the City. A wee taste for you...

That's what I'm thinking too, perhaps a trip over is in order

Depending on my financial status and where I go to college I either want to move back to Miami Beach, Florida (I used to live there and loved the climate and the city in general) or just skip down 495 to somewhere in Northern Virginia (I work part-time at Dulles Airport and the shopping in Tysons Corner is great).

I've also considered London as well, I have British heritage, love the history and overall style of the city.
