^^^ I'm guessing P2.  Great looking boot.

@Shawl Lapel: the boot is built on the P2 last, but can be ordered on any last you prefer.

It was our aim to create a couple of classic products. To do this we source the leather ourselves and make the design. If a customer wishes to alter any details to it, they are free to do so, but we would always like to keep the spirit of the original.

For anyone considering an order, we bought leather for a limited number of boots only, and already have had a couple of requests biggrin.gif! Thanks to everyone for the support.

Tomorrow we will visit Vass in Budapest. If there are any special requests (pictures of models, leather colors), or any kind of shoes or boots we should keep an eye out for, don't hesitate to ask!

Notch,

Please ask the good people at Vass if they anticipate any cordovan shell in colors other than what you have already listed.

Hot off the press: there have been some difficulties acquiring the lighter color cordovan. This however does not mean they are never in stock. The advise is to place an order for Whiskey cordovan if you wish, with the understanding that the order will be fulfilled when whiskey comes in stock. This can take 6 weeks, but can also take 10 weeks or more.

Even better news: right now there is (some) Whiskey cordovan in stock smile.gif, and a new cognac shade from Horween is on its way to the workshop!

While at the shop, we took some pictures of the inside of a Vass shoe sole. This is how Vass shoes are made. You can clearly see how the stitching, done by hand, keeps the welt, outer leather, lining and insole together.

A blog post about how a shoe is welted by hand, with video, will be up on the site tomorrow!

In the meantime, have a look at our store and please remember the 10% discount code for Italian Bresciani socks KNEEHIGHSOCKS (to be used at checkout).

A MTO medium brown suede chukka boot on its way to a client in Singapore! The client asked for a small V shaped notch to be cut into the heel of the shoe, to increase the comfort.

Our blog just went live!

Here is the direct link: http://jeeves.store/journal/

We have two blog posts up at the moment, about hand welted shoes (with an exclusive video from inside the Vass workshop, showing how a shoe is welted by hand), and an article about the origin of 'Scotch grain leather!

We are writing a blog post about how our leather belts are made, and thought we would share this picture:

All our belts are made by hand (only the outside stitching is done on a sewing machine).

This is a selection of our belts:

Jeeves medium brown suede lined and raised leather belt. With hand stitched solid bras buckle, cast in Italy. Each belt has a second keeper, and oval belt holes.

Jeeves Rosewood South African Kudu belt. With hand stitched solid bras buckle, cast in Italy. Each belt has a second keeper, and oval belt holes.
