Hello folks, how are you doing?

I have a question, on which I have found several different answers on Google, and I would like to hear your opinion.

Not too long, I got hold of three very nice suits ( 2 Canali, 1 Pal Zileri). On the outside, everything looks just fine.

But, inside of the suit pants, it ain't that good. There are signs of urine (the last owner did not hear about a thing called "underwear").

I have sent the slacks to the cleaner, but the stuff is still there (I suspect he didn't even bother...).

Now...Googling and browsing all night...I have found some blogs and comments that say that suits are safe to wash by hand if the water is cold, and with Woolite. Also, it can be washed in the washing machine, on low velocity (and only with Woolite and cold water added, no detergent).

But regardless...I still feel uneasy. If it was some cheap one, I would experiment. But hell...these suits aren't something you see every day, and I do not want to ruin them.

What would you guys do? Would you just "live with it", or hand wash a suit (suit pants, to be more exact) in order to remove stains from the inner lining?

The material is, by the way, wool (outer shell, super 120), and the inner lining is cupro bemberg. I am on travel right now, and I will post pics when I get back, if needed.

Thanks in advance!
