Lol, I don't stand a chance.

Lots of linen, pointed end knit, untucked back blade, unfused collar, wool/silk square, BnT jacket, beard.

Don't you have a peak lapel odd jacket? Dudeman, that's a missed opportunity.

Nah, I think he just laid down a marker that will be very hard to beat.  The only weakness here is that Claghorn doesn't have feet and therefore can't sport the iconic shoes of #menswear--either narrow-waisted loafers in grain or suede, or double-monks.

Some predictions: lots of the aforementioned shoes, lots of linen, lots of cream/eggshell trousers, lots of high-waisted trousers, lots of slubs, lots of beards.  (My entry will tick all but one of those boxes).

I do, but BnT is more #menswear

I have but one word to add to this thread.

Espadrilles.

My strategy for this challenge was to try to reference as many of the things @Anden included in the examples as possible, and then add linen and slubs to that.  That's what #menswear means, right?

First, linen galore: linen blend jacket, linen shirt, linen pocketsquare.

Matka silk tie with slubs for days.

Bonus points for aircraft-carrier sized lapels.

Down below, we've got cream trousers that are cotton but are cuffed like they're wool.

To cap it all off, dubmonks in suede.

@heldentenor Love the PS/jacket/shirt/tie combo. Would love a close-up if you have one.

All the pieces look great, but I don't think the white shirt goes well with the cream pants.  I think a light blue shirt would look much better here.

Panama

Reflective coloured lenses

Bespoke suit

Green Draper WSL cloth

Spalla camicia

3-r-2

Patch pockets

Linen BD shirt

Silk bourette tie

Christian Kimber linen square

Bare ankles

Double monks

All in all - yes, you could say I'm a wanker winner.

@Coxsackie well that's my entry done and dusted.  Great look and I love the suit--first wear/post on SF?

Also, you forgot to give yourself credit for the bigass oak door, another iconic staple of #menswear.

Thanks, I've posted the suit once before, but it's a summer suit and we've been in winter here in Sydney.

Predictably, though - first day of spring today and it's suddenly 22 degrees in the shade! That's Sydney for you.

Don't discount your entry yet, it's strong.

This is off to a strong start.  Doesn't look like I'll be able to participate (going out of town), but look forward to what everyone else comes up with...maybe a linen DB with a polo and Belgian loafers :smarmy:

I must say that I'm utterly impressed by the entries so far. Both the thought behind the fits and the photography.
