I have a fitting problem when wearing chelsea boots.

Like the topic says. I love the look of chelsea boots, especially R.M Williams but noone of there models fits me.

When i stay still they fit good and are comfortable but when i start walking my toes (big toe) on each fot hits the edge of the shoe.

I usually have 9.5 in size and with this size the toes hit the "wall" of the shoe when standing still. So i went up to 10 instead, when i stay still they don't hit the wall but when i start walking they hit it every step.

I tried 10.5 but there it starts to get to big for me.

Its like my feet glide when I'm walking. I can't see why, i have a normal/high instep if you look at my shoes below that i own you can see what preferences i have.

So maybe its just R.M Williams chelsea boots that doesn't fit me? No its not, I have tried a lot of brands out there as crockett and jones and still the same problem. Also on some winter boots i have the problem.

May the problem be that chelsea boots have a higher heel so my feet are leaning down?

I have a pair of loake 1880 in size 9.5 in capital f last as a preference and also crockett and jones with 348 last.

The loake shoes are oxfords.

The C&J are chukkas.

I can also input that i have owned a pair of chelsea boots that fitted perfectly, they where a cheaper pair from a no known maker.

I really hope someone can help me!!!

And i have no money for a bespoke option at this time.

Regards,

Probably not what you want to hear, but the lasts you've tried just don't work for you.  If you've went up in size and they still don't work, there isn't much more you can do.  You're best bet would be to try out other brands...Carmina makes nice Chelseas.
