Hi,

I'm hoping I can get recommendations from other Bostonians with fine delicates they regularly dry clean. I was recommended to a cleaner called Holly Cleaners in Needham by the Giorgio Armani boutique but they have proven inadequate. I have now 6 times had silk blend items shrunk by them, 5 of which were unwearable after, and have twice been compensated. 5 of those 6 were short sleeve silk blend Giorgio Armani shirts with specific instructions. I've been informed by Giorgio Armani staff in FL that these shirts only shrink in length when cleaned improperly or exposed to heat or water. They are almost certainly pressing the items with too much heat or steam some of the time: about 1/3 the time I've given them one of these items they've shrunk or ruined it. Unfortunately nothing I have done has prevented these recurring errors

Can anyone recommend somewhere better?

Paging @Drinkwaters.

Gary is a store proprietor, and might be able to recommend someone.

The only dry cleaner to recommend is French Cleaners in Boston, owned by brothers Joseph & David Baldwin. They have two locations, 130 Dartmouth Street and 538 Tremont Street. Tell them we sent you!
