Just got this sport coat by harris tweed for cheap on ebay. Wanted to get you guys opinion on the overall look.

(Ok, I know it's a a little big in the shoulders... But everything else fits so well-- that's my dilemma)

The shoulders don't appear to be all that big, just a lot of structure. Overall fit is not bad.

Its hard to tell fit from a single static picture but if you say the fits good and you like the fabric then it seems something worth keeping. The shoulders do look more structured than massively too big - possibly a touch but again hard to judge from single picture.

 

Personally cannot stand the traditional leather style buttons and so for me they'd have to be replaced with some horn buttons.

And yes,Astaroth, I agree with you about the buttons. I'll probably get them replaced sooner or later

I agree that the shoulders are just heavily structured, not necessarily big. You may need the waist and seat taken in. With thick fabrics it's harder to see imperfections, so you are probably good.
