Interesting HL Brief for UK Ebayers

Found this Helmut Lang briefcase (not mine, nor do I have any affiliation with or know the seller) on ebay and wish that the British Pound/US Dollar exchange rate wasn't absurd. In any case, anybody looking for a modern, sleek, subtle but still very stylish (how about that alliteration?) briefcase who has some extra "pounds" laying around might want to place a bid. As well, probably quite collectible since HL now sits around and raises chickens. http://cgi.ebay.com/helmut-lang-new-...230207951085QQ

Oh I'm sure he's been raising COCKS as well! [/lame]

Anyway, nice briefcase. I like HL's more subdued bags and briefcases and have a messenger in hemp which I still use on an almost daily basis. Top notch construction with Lampo zips et al.

Yeah, they were made at the same facilities that Prada used for its upper-level bags (including Jil Sander and Miu Miu). I like most of the HL accessories I've had, though some of the bags were a little odd and had too many "bondage straps" hanging all over the place. This one in the auction above, though, looks nice and simple. I'm sure the leather is quite nice as well...

Yeah for the price I've been happy with mine (here it is). Although HL used lots of straps on his items it was actually the straps that were the weak point on mine since the small leather fastenings were a little loose so it just slides down if it's heavy loaded (not really a problem since I like to wear it fairly low anyway). But other than that after nearly two years of use it's held up remarkably well, and most importantly I really like the design.

I had these two: http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?cod10=4...81L&sts=orders http://www.yoox.com/item.asp?cod10=4...91B&sts=orders ...but never really used them much because the random straps and the overly soft nylon made them really hard to use properly. ...and this travel bag:
