Could anyone identify this bag from the opening scenes of Man From UNCLE?

Looks a fairly generic 60s ish large briefcase/ small suitcase... parent's loft used to have a few of them when I was a kid

Yup, I don't see it as being anything obviously out of the ordinary for the 1960s.

Unless/until I learn more about it, I'll think of it as a Samsonite or one of the many similar lines of hard-sided briefcases and luggage. "McSamsonite," if you will.

You could probably find a near identical example on eBay, likely selling for next to nothing as hard-sided cases aren't fashionable these days.
