Question for all owners of shawls from previous seasons. What kind of mileage are you getting out of these? No doubt they are well-built, but more in regards to styling, etc. Just curious if it was one of those pieces that was better in theory than practice.

I end up using mine as a regular scarf. I have not really worn them in the ways modeled in the look books.

I've worn it all 3 ways (scarf, layering underneath shirt/jacket, and across chest). I usually stick to across chest:

Heads up on the AW16 shawls - most of them aren't 100% wool. From what I've seen, only the polka dot one and the shirting thickness ones are. The rest are wool/polyester blends.

same - missed the notre exclusives.  love the grey bedford...on a related note, is $385 for poly-cotton cinch pants a significant price increase?  i don't think my tropical wool cinch pants cost that much...

It looks like they are selling the same pants at Classroom Shop for $265, so hopefully that was a typo on Notre.

Does the reverse sateen fabric have a sheen to it? I've never seen in real life.

The striped Bedfords at Notre look great too --

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to share that the Tanner Goods EG FW16 delivery just started rolling in! We also launched two collaborations this season that you might be interested in. All of the biggest EG fans I know are on Styleforum (myself included) So I'm finally excited to really make this happen for TG and Woodlands last year. Anyways, as usual, all our stuff isn't available for sale online, but you can check it out. We have some different pieces coming down the road but thus far, just some Banded Collar shirts and Ground Pants in Cone Denim...That being said, our two colab SMU's are available for purchase online since they're exclusive to the doors..

Wool Windowpane CPO jacket
Blackwatch Tartan Workshirt

And styled for an edit.

edit* saw that plug above! I didn't read the last page of this post. Thanks for sharing already.... At least the styled images are relevant.

I'm loving this season. I have a 9oz cone denim field parka on the way and I couldn't' be any more excited to rock that thing soon! It's just insane.... the denim stuff is just so damn good this season.
