The removable buttons are back on the Bedfords. Think that's just going to be a FW thing from now on?

Did they run out of the original removable buttons?

The new ones are similar but not exactly the same.

Seems they'll be coming back in SS17.

Super nice fabrics and totally more interesting than FW15, but, everything looks pretty damn big. Tried on the polka dot Bedford and the fabric was amazing but the thing fit HUGE. Could easily go down a size.

The old EG silhouette is definitely back. Not really my thing - I kind of liked the brands emphasis on trimmer tailoring while still remaining relaxed in the past couple years, but I think for those who enjoy the relaxed fit, this season will be great.

Yeah from the fit pictures I have seen everything is looking huge as you said. The EG mainline fatigues are looking like workaday fatigues. I was enjoying the trimmer tailoring while still remaining relaxed as you mentioned. It was nice having the leg opening small enough on the fatigues that you did not have to cuff.

I like the looks of the cut of the bdu pants this season. For you style experts, what shirt (EG or otherwise) would you wear with the black bdu pants? I was thinking 19th century blackwatch from last winter or any black eg button down, maybe even a tech shirt like veilance?

Anyone know what the weight is like on the dark navy chino twill cinch pants? Wearable in Spring/Summer?

FWIW, the F/W '15 BDU jacket that I have (Olive HBT) fits larger than I expected. I have a Medium (my typical outerwear EG size) and I think I could easily wear a Small. I kinda like the slouchy, slightly oversized fit so it's not too big of a deal.

That Navy/Grey Big Plaid Melton Chester Coat will be mine. When will stockists start seeing the FW16 line?

A couple of observations (YMMV!) : I tried on the three Work Shirts and both Bedfords in my usual size small (for reference I'm 5'7-8" tops and 135) and I have to say I am true to size in everything we've received up to this point. For the Work Shirts I got the typical boxy fit and I personally didn't think that the body length was egregiously long. Now, by that I mean longer than usual, though I will admit that Work Shirts in general are a bit longer than I'd like, being a shorter guy. At first I felt as if I had more sleeve length than in prior seasons, which I was excited about because I thought maybe this is finally the season I can size down in Work Shirts to slim the body down a tad and crop that slightly-too-long-for-me tail length a bit! Nope. I tried on the XS and though it fit me nice and fitted in the body (if that's your thing), the sleeves were just a bit too short as they always are for me in XS. As for the Bedfords, I think they fit consistent with past FW seasons, which is to say in lighter materials you'll get a bit more room in the body for layering than in the thicker heavier wools. This is true of the Olive Cotton Double Cloth (more room in the body) and the Navy 20oz Melton (a touch snugger in the body). On both accounts, sleeves and shoulders were just right for me in the size I always buy and I wouldn't change a thing. I also tried on the Cinch Pant which still has a nice slimmer/tapered silhouette. The "dark navy" on this particular cotton chino twill leans more teal in my opinion, especially if you put it side by side next to a true navy like on the 20oz melton, where the mix of green becomes immediately apparent. @tobiasfunke Weight-wise, yeah, I'd say you can get away with year round wear on this fabric - it's a good medium weight. If anyone wants to see any fit pics to get a clearer picture just let me know.

Those are some great buys and a great write up.

I always think it odd that the AW jackets aren't cut a bit looser to allow for thicker items to be worn underneath them, or for increased layering options, which seems much more necessary in colder weather. Hoping that the Bedfords this season are a bit bigger, or I think I'll just size up again.

loving the bush shirt. Kind of too monotone colours this season for my taste, but overall looks great! Glad to see the old silhouette coming back.

What's a "double cloth"? Referring to the bedford
