Spring court sizing?

Thread Starter
Anyone here own any spring courts. Im looking at purchasing a pair and im trying to figure out the sizing. The site there on is a UK site and has them listed in numbers i.e. 9, 10, 11 etc. and im not sure if there sized in UK or U.S.? Also ive seen them in european sizes on other sites i.e 42, 43, etc. Any ideas on how there actually tagged and how they fit? I usually wear a 9.5 In Jack Purcells. Thanks for your help guys.

yeah i had the same problem... Yes theyre true to size,, however when you order theyll usually be listed in UK sizes which are one size smaller than american sizing.... so for example i had to order a size 8 UK in order for it to fit like a size 9 U.S. hope that helps couldnt be more simple holla....

I have had two pairs of spring courts, and from my experience they run large. I typically wear a size 10.5 US in practically everything, which translates to a Euro 43-44. I can deviate about 1/2 a size in either direction depending on the brand, narrow Nike's and I usually wear 10.5 or 11, but new balance of adidas I might wear a 10.5 or 10. I ordered my first pair of Spring Courts and ordered a 44, which is typically between a 10.5 and 11 US, and when I got it there was an easy 3/4" space from the tip of my toe to the end of the shoe. On top of that the shoes were the punched leather b4's, and they ended up stretching out even more. In that pair i now wear thick socks and have two insoles. The next pair I ordered i sized down to a 43, which is typically a 10. When I got them, they were again too large, and they were leather as well so they stretched out. Moral of the story, size down and if they are tight at first its ok, they will stretch. Ideally i think 42 would be good for me, which should be like a 9.5 US, but since they run large its more like a 10.5US. I dont know about the UK sizes, but that is my experience with the spring court European sizes.

I have a pair of classic G2 canvas pumps and they run slightly large. I am a us 9.5 and tried them a size 43 and 42. The 43 had too much room at the front and the 42 was a little tight. I went with the 42 and after a couple of weeks they fit perfect.

Instead of making a new thread I thought Id post here. Im thinking of geeting a pair of spring courts and the sizing on the size is in Euro sizing (ie 42, 43 etc) How should I size? I typically wear 7US in Converse, particularly Jack Purcell, 8US in Vans Era/Authentic. Ive also tried a size 40 in Common Porjects which were too big. Any tips?

I'm wearing G2 low's right now, I typically wear a 11.5 and I bought a size 11 and they fit fantastic. Although, I bought a size 11 of the high tops and couldn't get them on my feet, so...yah.

Are the laces still insanely long on Springcourts? And yes, I usually wear a 12, bought a 45, tts.

My laces don't feel overly long, laced up to the top hole they're still fairly long but not unusually so after just a single knot.

SO what size do you think i should get if I wanted hightops I often get confused on what is meant to be a size 7US, is it 39 or 40? I mean some sites will say a 39 is 6 or 6.5 US whereas some will say the 39 is a 7 What is it with Spring Courts?
Well, if you want hightops I'd go true to size. If you're buying from a website like Endless it's fairly simple (and free) to exchange and get the sizing right.

But what exactly is the true to size equivelant to a size 7US, is it a 39 or a 40?
Even the sizing chart on Endless is a bit confusing Its says 40 D EU/ 7D(M) Is that 7 a US size or UK size then under on the size chart it says a 40 eu is an 8.5 US :S

When it says 40 = 8.5, that's a womens US 8.5

And from my experience, 40 usually translates to a US mens 7 or 7.5

BUT size 40 Spring Courts are slightly too big for me, and I wear size 7 Clark's desert boots, and 7.5 Florsheims are too small for me.
Makes sense right?

Now thats the post that I needed I wear 7m-US in Clarks DBs so I am guessing I should go with a size 39 then

Here, let me flip the script further. I wear a 12 in proper shoes and a 13 in some athletic stuff (like New Balance) and, from comparing my measurements against a chart, I'd say I'm around a 12.5. The sz 45 (US12) Spring Courts I bought two years ago were much too small, so I had to size up to 46. Even in those, I sometimes wish I had .5" more space in the toe box. But I have kooky feet.
