Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster. I hate to poke the hornet's nest, but I'm curious: How do you lean politically? And do you think there's any connection between your political beliefs and your interest in menswear and style?

I was watching this Onion video (which is awesome, btw), and it made me think: http://www.theonion.com/video/gop-ma...eady-loo-36778

I'm posting this around a couple of style sites, so don't disappoint. Thanks!

I think it would be better if you'd ask people to post their political compass in this thread -https://www.politicalcompass.org/
and put name of user on all the dots, would be interesting to see tbh
these general labels like conservative/liberal are oversimplified and quite outdated

results would look like this;

I agree, the labels I suggested are vastly oversimplified, which is why I also have "none of the above;" I'm also more interested in the comments. If users would like to take the 6-page test on Political Compass, I'd be very interested to see their results and map them. Thanks for the suggestion!

sure, iirc there was a thread about compass once you can get some of the results from there if im not mistaken

mine;
Economic Left/Right: -2.63
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -2.36

Q: How do you lean politically?
to the right on immigration/western feminism/identity politics based initiatives like BLM, to the left in most other areas

Q: And do you think there's any connection between your political beliefs and your interest in menswear and style?
maybe competivness pushed me interested in both at some point of my life, it's hard for me to make a link between the two

None of your fucking business.

"Long time reader" - you joined this month, jackass. Whatever you're peddling go sell crazy somewhere else, we're all stocked up here.

Leaving off Libertarian indicates that you are unqualified to participate in the discussion, much less open a topic thereuponto pertaining.
