@unbelragazzo

Where's the tie from and what is the composition? Tussah?

Oh, and let's have some details on the jacket/suit if you don't mind.

Tie is raw silk, according to the maker, which is Marshall Anthony. Both the SC from yesterday and the suit today from Enrico Amato in Naples.

Gah I forgot to take a pic yesterday and today I'm not wearing a tie. But just to finish before the weekend starts, here's a jacket:

I'll have to mark you tardy then, David. Tsk tsk...(and nice jacket).

It's a 100% Italian linen (http://www.samhober.com/italian-100-linen-ties/plum-purple-and-midnight-blue-linen-tie-glt-2.html). It's very soft for a linen but has a bit of texture to the touch--about what you'd expect from the visual texture--and very slight slubbiness. It's woven from different colored threads, so the color changes a bit in different light. The top and bottom in the photo show that off to some extent. I wanted something between burgundy and purple (no interest in a true purple tie). I was lazy and didn't ask for a swatch first. I'm happy with how it came out. Excellent craftsmanship from David and his team, of course.

Posted in WAYRWN a couple weeks back, but new S/S jacket and tie - just in time for the late Bay Area summer.

It took me a while to post process these pictures taken in August.

I want to thank TweedyProf for giving the heads up on the last PoW linen EG Cappelli from Exquisite Trimmings. It is so versatile. icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

@poorsod

Great, thanks! I had forgotten about the Draper's linen tie you picked up. Glad you like it. I wear it often as well. It has a nice spongy feel to it I haven't experienced with linen cloth. It's a really nice tie, isn't it?

@UrbanComposition want to close us out? Fall weather is coming or already here.
