FREEMANS SPORTING CLUB - OFFICIAL AFFILIATE THREAD

Better late than never.

11 years after opening our first shop in NYC, we are pleased to introduce our brand to the SF community.

In 2005, FSC pioneered the concept of combining clothing & grooming under one roof to create an authentic lifestyle brand that celebrates what defines men.

Truthfully, putting a barbershop inside of a clothing store was not part of a master plan, we just thought it might be cool to try and, lo and behold, 11 years later, you can still make one stop and buy a perfectly tailored suit and complete the look with an expertly styled haircut & shave.

We believe that every man needs a good suit.  The Ready-To-Wear Freeman Suit is an accessible American-made suit and the foundation upon which we’ve built our brand.  Made with a full-floating canvas, high armholes, and a natural silhouette, it’s easy to wear, and appeals to men of all ages.

R&D is part of our DNA and this is critical because men dress differently now than they did 10 years ago and the line between tailored clothing & sportswear has blurred.  In practical terms, this means that guys need added value from the tailored clothing they invest in.  A suit jacket needs to be able to pull double-duty as a sport coat or blazer on the weekend and the suit pants need to work with a t-shirt.

Therefore, it is incumbent upon us as a brand to constantly evolve & expand our construction techniques, silhouettes and fabric options.

In addition to our Ready-To-Wear tailored clothing, we also offer in-house Made-To-Measure suiting as well as our recently released Made-To-Order online suiting program.

For customers with specific fit or design requirements that can’t be addressed with our Made-To-Measure options, we hand-make true bespoke suits and shirts in our tailor shop in our store in NYC.  Based on a unique paper pattern, and sewn almost entirely by hand, these suits are hand-cut and constructed by our team of Master Tailors and represent the highest form of craftsmanship, which FSC has always stood for.  For additional information on our suiting options please check out our website at www.freemanssportingclub.com.

In addition to our tailored clothing, we have been designing and producing our own brand of American-made sportswear since 2005.  In the beginning, we made our clothing in America, primarily in midtown Manhattan, out of necessity, not as part of a marketing strategy.  Simply put, our quantities were very small and quality control was much easier via a subway ride to midtown vs. an overseas trip to Asia.  Over the course of the past decade we have built relationships with some of the finest garment manufacturers in the country and are very proud to continue our tradition of creating timeless, durable shirts, pants, outerwear and accessories that reinforce our belief in form, function and resilience.

In 2012, we partnered with Yagi Tsusho, a Japanese trading company, to bring the FSC brand to Japan.  Yagi is responsible for introducing and growing great brands such as Barbour, Mackintosh, Moncler and Woolrich in the Japanese market.   With the help of Yagi, and our retail partner, Urban Research, we opened our first flagship location in Tokyo in April of 2013.  Now three years later, we have a second Tokyo flagship and a third, in the capital city of Osaka, is currently under construction.

As a result of this partnership, we are now proud to offer Made In Japan sportswear, alongside our American-made clothing. In an effort to bring our customers the finest quality garments possible, we’ve utilized the expertise and specialties of Japanese factories and mills.

In our continued efforts to improve our product and create clothing that men need, we welcome your feedback and questions and are thrilled to be part of the SF community.

We are currently running our annual Summer Sale and as an introduction to the brand on SF, we would like to offer forum members an additional 10% off all web items with the code: STYLE16.  Through Sunday, June 17th. http://freemanssportingclub.com/collections/new-arrivals

Just be careful guys, if you order over the phone they'll give you BS over returning it and make you take store credit since it wasn't ordered online...at least that's what they did with me, despite being patient. Killed the brand for me.

Hi Guys,

Just to be clear, we do have a policy of no returns on sale or discounted merchandise, both in store, on line and for phone orders. That said, we try to be accommodating by allowing exchanges of sale items for other merchandise or sizes, as long as it is done within the 14 day period.

For regular priced merchandise, we give store credit for anything bought in the shop, if returned within 14 days. For on line and phone orders of regular priced merchandise, we will credit your card back within the 14 day period.

Any made to order or custom garments are non refundable.

Please let me know if you have questions.

Not trying to cause a drawn out debate, but the item I referenced was bought full price. I was told phone counted as "in store" multiple times because of the way it had to be rung up. Only reason I care is because it was a $600 something jacket.

They have been insane! But their ice cream really is good. They even have a line sometimes during the winter months. And when they do the Kanye West flavors the line goes around the block.
