I could not believe people were standing in line for over an hour (over a full block long) to get into the store?

Are there better deals? Different selection of clothes?

TX

To answer your question, no, they don't have any deals, and no, the clothes are the same as you can find anywhere else.

However, the experience is probably worthwhile because it's so freaking weird. The 5th Ave store is part nightclub, part A&F. They have dance music blasting at an outrageous volume, plus all the lights are turned down really low. It's kind of a weird concept because it makes any actual shopping rather difficult, what with the crowds and all.

That said, all the salesgirls are really, really HOT =)

Well, I didn't visit A&F but was surprised at the lines at A&F and American Girl.

Indiana is not as bad as it's sometimes made out to be. I'm not originally from these parts but have come to enjoy my time here - easy living. Although, I must confess that one has to get out often.

Yes, I exaggerated a bit there. Overall, I have been happy with all 20 years of my life in Indiana. I live 30 minutes north of Lafayette, so Indy is 90 miles away, and Chicago is 92. Although there are a lot of hicks, I enjoy the time I spend with the people who aren't. Life seems so much less superficial here.
