What are your go-to "comfort" jeans?

I'm in the same boat, I have a slim waist and muscular legs too. Generally I like my Jeans fitted (although not painted on), but when I want to wear something more relaxed (without looking baggy) I have a couple of pairs of PRPS Ponys.

They were a little too slouchy when I bought them, so I had them slightly tailored (seat taken in, upper thigh taken in). Now they fit great.

Sugar Cane Okinawas. High rise baggy thighs diaper ass with a late-1980s taper. Good for kicking around the house but too embarrassing to be worn in public.

rediculous.

I sized down two on the BB. I should have sized down 4! In addition I lost weight so my only sizing down two, already bad enough, was made even worse.

A 36 BB has a 12.5 to 13 inch front rise.

It's not the rise though, it's the diaper ass effect at the back.

There's something I like about the BB at the same time. But I can see why Nuide discontinued these jeans. Particularly since if you size up on the RR you're essentially getting a BB fit but better since it will be without the excess ass baggage.

While I find this an interesting, and true, observation, let me just point out that there are different levels of comfort required. The level of comfort required to go out to dinner, or to a nightclub is different than the level required to spend three hours driving, or six hours sitting on a plane (both of which I do semi-regularly).

My RB6 1w's...I've worn them so much that they are perfect for me...they weren't all that comfortable when I first put them on though.

completely agree with this one. kratt is the ultimate slightly relaxed cut.

My 1-year-old worn Earnest Sewn Fultons. They WERE once raw, but I've worn them down now and washed them that they're softer than any of my old cheap 'comfort jeans'.

They don't look to bad either!

Agreed. Some things are more comfortable for standing up, and others are more comfortable for sitting down. There's no such thing as "universally comfortable", unless we're talking about sweatpants. Which I don't wear.

For me, I like wearing my ES Fulton Line dry for going out, and my Lucky's with small amounts of stretch material for sitting down things (like law school exams)

5EP SDZ's have cradled me through 15 hour plane flights. I figure they're alright.

Earnest Sewn Filson Selvedge are my comfort jean, but lately I've worn them to do some landscaping around the backyard and they've become my work jean too.

My Flat Head 5100xx are perfect for just about anything; relaxed enough in the legs to not be confining and enough space in the top block so that when I am sitting through a class they don't crush the boys. I have found the real test of my comfort jeans to be at the end of the day, when I get home, do I change out of them or leave them on till bed?
