Are these boys shell Cordovan

Thread Starter

I bought these a Bruno Magli Platinum ankle boots a couple years ago and have yet to wear them.  Since I very rarely wear suits anymore I'm going back and forth with the idea of selling them to someone who might have more opportunity to enjoy them.  I'm almost certain they're shell but I wouldn't want to list them as such unless I was pretty sure.  I can't recall exactly what I paid but I remember my girlfriend thinking I was nuts for dropping over $1500.  As it turned out she might have been right lol.  Does anyone have an inkling?  What forum could I hit where people might be able to make an ID?

Thanks in advance,

Long time lurker

PS - I had a little too much fun with the product photography lol.  There are more and larger photo's if it would help.

they are not shell cordovan. Flex them and shoot a pic and post a pic of the creasing that happens to be sure.

I'll do that when I get home in a couple days.

Thanks SpooPoker.  I did try them on on the carpet a few times and flexed them then but I will purposefully flex them when I get home in a couple days and post a pic.  Thanks!
