Going to a wedding, finally getting my own tie, but what

Wedding in July, and I have no tie that I really like.

I've got a blue suit, brown hugo boss shoes and brown belt. Bought a pocket square I liked,

so all I'm missing is a tie that fits that navy blue combo with that square.

Most likely plain white shirt

What color combination would be good for this? All suggestions are welcome.

Additional info; medium brown hair, blue eyes and redish full beard.

Price range on the tie? Navy or green pindot or a solid burgundy grenadine are good bets.

Depends, if I find something here in Norway; 90$, but overseas, 70-80 tops, because of customs that will tear me a new one.

That's two good options there.

What time is the wedding (or more accurately the bits you are going to)? Do you know the level of formality?

Wedding 23 july, not chuch, they are to be wed at the courtyhouse. Going for this and the party after.

Bride is an interior architect, so got style. Groom trendy also. Recently bought paul smith brown shoes for his suit.

Black, really?

Then maybe something like the green pindot from Kent Wang, seven fold:

Forgot to ask if its a white or blue shirt?

For me I'd have two challenges.... firstly you've got organic shapes on your pocket square which pretty much rules out hard geometric shapes in the tie, secondly being colourblind I am not great at colour matching at the best of times but the squares colour will make it hard to follow the traditional "guideline" that the major colour of the square should be a secondary colour from the tie.

Personally I like light blues or silvers for weddings so with a white shirt I would be looking at things like the below and possibly rethinking the square:

If you are wanting this to be more useful for other occasions after the wedding given its to be your ownly tie then I'd stick to a navy tie with a small design like pin dots in a printed silk

So the green pindot over the burgundy? I like the Wang ties. In my price range as well.

Plain white. I really like that pocket square ;) Will get more, but there should be ties matching up with it.

The tie I got with the suit was a baby blue ish silk scarf. Fel too plain, and wanted something with better quality and more daring that that.

So won't be going for that again. Tried, didnt' like :)

So I bought a new tie at the local store. It's green, with a bit smaller dots. It was

seasonal so it was the last one they had. Thanks a lot! :)
