MTM camo? Deserves a place of honor on this Friday challenge for sure! :crazy:

@Thin White Duke

Ah, left over camo from when I was thinking of posting it under a sock. My beard is still dirty blonde.

Excellent.

I think either sandals or barefoot might have been best for the post-Apocalyptic Claghorn shown here (by the way, the lighter-than-the-Yohji striped trousers really make this for me, and the buttoned top button is exactly right), but then again the evidence for Claghorn actually having feet has never been particularly strong so perhaps it doesn’t matter … :D

Cheers,

You are arguing with someone on the styleforum about saving money.

Quite true! Money is not a typical topic here. Well, I'm off to commission that Vicuña codpiece I've always wanted.....biggrin.gif

Maybe not too goofy looking but barely usable. Wool/Cashmere/Alpaca that is too heavy to wear on most days. I can only wear it on certain late Fall days where a coat is needed but an overcoat is too much. It's also very fuzzy.

Oh, hush up.  Sorry your amaze balls jacket is too warm.  If it's a 38R, I'll be glad to take this train wreck off your hands.  :D

Holy crap!

I went on a couple of hours flight and when I return to the SF challenge I'm met by Yohji knits, MTM camo, fuzzy fabrics and a jacket that is brighter than the sun. Good job!

But I bet there are more "what the hell was I thinking" stuff out there. How about @pravda using those Gucci sneakers in a complete fit for instance?

suit: Camps de Luca
Shirt: Luigi Borrelli
Tie: Marinella
PS: Corneliani
Monks: Carmina

I had a similar experience with a pair of cords - these were supposed to be darker irl but, no, they are quite bright, which causes what Coxy would probably term 'cognitive dissonance' given they are winter weight but summer-y colour. I've since come to the conclusion that casual wear either with a rough tweed jacket and no tie, or just with a jumper and scarf are the best ways forward, and I still wear them occasionally as the are supremely comfortable.

@Thin White Duke is correct.  They dress that way in England.
