Man purse

Thread Starter
I would like to be able to carry an iPad or even a small laptop to certain occasions. I wouldn't pull out if there are people talking to me but would like to pull the laptop while waiting for wife to shop at mall or at daughter's swim meets. I read online about man purse. What do you all think of them?

lol at the term man-purse.  I don't think that I've heard that term since 1998.  Messenger bags and briefs are pretty common these days.  Maybe try a portfolio.  If you want something "manly", I use this: http://frankcleggleatherworks.com/leather-bags/messengers.html

I use a Filson 256 briefcase and really like it.  My son calls it my satchel...my boss calls it a fashion bag.  I don't give a crap.  It's useful.

Have you tried looking into tote bags? I really like the tote bags Yoshida & Co make.

I'm afraid that a man purse will slip out of my hands. I like the security of knowing I have straps to keep the body of the bag from slipping out of my hands.

Mainly use a briefcase, but sometimes I use a roll-top bag if I'm only carrying an iPad and charger.

I got one in khaki twill, which almost looks like a brown paper bag.
