Great prices on dress shirts

I don't know how often Charles Tyrwhitt marks down shirts this far, but if you're a young professional looking for some dress shirts-- or like me, looking for a couple of shirts in a certain pattern or color that I'd rather not pay my regular prices for (I wanted a blue gingham and a solid blue shirt, the latter of which I know doesn't last me very long before looking haggard), Charles Tyrwhitt has most shirts for $40.

I like that for each shirt, you can choose both your exact sleeve length AND whether you prefer french or single button cuffs.

I love the euphemism "Sea Island Quality." They ought to just call them "Not Sea Island" or "Faux Sea Island."

Most of the shirts I just looked at are $49.50 or higher. Am I missing the secret handshake or code or something?

Can anyone comment on how slim the 16.5 shirts actually are? An actual chest measurement would be great, as they don't seem too slim from the measurements on their site. Also, are there any discount codes that can be used on top of the sale?

They have a chart of measurements somewhere on their site for each of the dimensions. I can't remember where it is though.

try sorting by "price (lowest)" - I'm seeing 22 shirts in my size at 39.50.

It's pretty easy to find. Just click on "sizing guide" on each item, it should be right under the description. Keep in mind they have two sizing guides - one for their regular fits and one for their slimmer fits.

for 16.5 (shown as 16H) in any sleeve length in their regular fit, the actual shirt chest measurement is 51" and actual shirt waist measurement is 50". from what i remember, the shirts show up pretty close to spec and will shrink a little bit if you wash warm and tumble dry, but not too much if you wash cold and hang dry.

^ Yes, that's it. Thank you for enabling my laziness.
