The one shoe...

I have to admit. If I had to only have a single shoe, that's a very good choice for me.

This thread is everything about StyleForum that I missed from when I joined.

Thanks for making SF great again.

^ unfortunately this thread has gone vastly off-topic and migrated into a discussion about what people wear on Wall Street. It's frustrating but I understand that no one wanted to engage Dieworkwear in a conversation about my problems with Neapolitan tailoring and so, as a deflection mechanism, the conversation turned to Wall Street and other matters unrelated to the purpose of this thread. So I get it. In any event, tomorrow morning I plan to get this thread - my thread - back on track with a discussion of my problems with Neapolitan tailoring. Until then I suppose you can all just continue to thread drift as frustrating as it may be to me, and I bid you gentlemen a goonite (except for P-K-L, who I know won't sleep until he is sure that everyone at the fedora lounge has seen his monogram).

This thread has closed its eyes to think of AGJIFFY. For that he deserves a salute.

No, the best place for you to live is dressedwell.net, where I'm having the mods move your posts and profile right now. You can't just post this type of nonsense. http://LAGuy, http://diethreaddrift; handle this now!

Sacrilegious, but I'd take NYC over San Francisco. At this point, San Francisco real estate prices are ~25% higher than Manhattan, but with none of the benefits.

When I was a child, I would go to work with my father on Wall Street.

After donning my best Brooks Brothers navy blazer and pleated chinos, doodling on buy/sell sheets and a lunch at the 21 club and a subway ride back downtown, I was walking and tripped in my loafers. I fell flat on my face in front of the statue of GW outside Federal Hall.

Remember it like it was yesterday.

We don't have terrible weather. Believe me, the cost difference is worth it.

That's just an opportunity for awesome outerwear.

For winter, maybe. Summer really sucks for tailored clothing. Also, you need to move back to San Francisco.
