Summer is here. We'll at least in Sweden.

Bow ties are great all year round but especially in the summer. Sallads and ties don't go well together.

Rules are simple.

Wear a bow tie.

So. If you feel like it wear a bow with the official uniform of my dad is lawyer:

Or wear it with dignity:

The Bow Tie Crowd. Winston Churchill, 1951.

Poll will go up on Monday and end on Tuesday.

The Contestants!

Still, german beer (I guess it was), bow tie, OCBD and DB suit was a pretty cool combo.

As I have mentioned before, if I win the Friday Challenge part of the challenge will be that the picture has to be taken somewhere outside on the street to prove that the entrant actually left his house wearing his entry.

For those who want more details about Lenin on La Brea in Los Angeles......

To please @Roycru I stopped on the way to my office at the post office this morning, which happens to be close to the lovely house that is the former home of Dorothy L. Sayers.  I managed a quick selfie!

I wear shorts exactly like the guy on the right in the photo + light blue shirts a lot in the summer. My dad is a doctor.

No hate from thsi side of the pond.

Well now I will have to enter with this outfit.

What would undeniably get my vote is seeing @Cleav in a bow-tie.

As a member of the little-known (now effectively defunct) Bow Tie Club of Gt Britain and Ireland,  I should.  I'll give it some thought - but no shorts!

I missed the launch of said Club at the Ritz in London in 2012, which drew a mixed bag:

Then we had a follow up meeting that I did get to.  Then we all got carried away and starting setting up little sub-groups (as below at the North Essex branch launch in 2013) and then it started to fizzle out...

Don't have my bow-ties with me here in Geneva. Actually contemplated buying one just to enter the challenge. Then reality kicked in...
