I'm going to give this a shot for a week and see what kind of results I see. Frankly I don't care much about potentially losing muscle anymore because it's always been so easy for me to gain it.

A whole week?

The possibilities are endless.

Yes a week. As a trial period. Seeing what it does is just as important as seeing how it feels. If I lose fat but feel awful the whole time it's not worth continuing.

I'd suggest trying to keep at it for two weeks. When I change diet or exercise patterns it usually feels strange and/or unpleasant for a little while before I adjust. This isn't due specifically to the new pattern, just the fact that I changed. So I think you should give yourself a little time to get used to it to see how it really works for you after you're used to it.

Noted. I'll do that.

I've thought about this before and even tried a version of it for a while before reading about it here. I'm gonna start on it tomorrow and see how it goes. I like to experiment on myself before making suggestions to clients.
