Hi :)

My name is Dan and im 21 ,my sense of style isn't very good and i would like some tips or advice's that may help me to start dress better.

Basically i have a big body frame and i find it hard to match outfits for clubbing mostly.

What would you consider for some examples for outfits that i can dress for clubs?

Like a T-Shirt/Jeans/Sneakers?

Or something more classy?

Thanks in advanced every small advice would help :D

Moving this to menswear advice, where you might get some more looks and answers.

It really depends on the club.  Some of them won't even let you get through the door with jeans and a tee on.

Hey Dan,

If you want to go with the jeans, tee, sneakers look, I'd make sure the jeans fit well and are dark (not faded).  Keep the t shirt basic - ( a solid white, grey, or blue would be good - no graphic tees).  And for sneakers you can't go wrong with converse jack purcells or adidas stan smiths.

That's obviously very specific and might not be your taste - just a suggestion - I always appreciate it when people give me specific advice.

Wearing an actual shirt (button up, not tee) would be a simple step up.

+1.
Dark jeans + black/grey/white Tshirt and 30 minutes a day in the gym is a fine start. Then a white dress shirt. Then a grey suit with the white dress shirt. Then a navy sports coat. Whatever you do, buy good stuff and keep it clean. No Ed hardy, Robert graham or logoed shirts. Take the time, make the right choices on the basics and stay near there.

With plain dark jeans, a plain shirt might be too drab. And a colorful one probably wouldn't look good on someone carrying extra pounds. As long as that's the case, while some party shirts and graphic tees are tasteless, might as well wade through to find some that are passable. No shiny shirts, by the way.

Assess the clothing that you own now and decide what you *dont* want to wear anymore then consider what you want to replace them. Things such as graphic t-shirts, sports jerseys, or clothing with a visible logo etc are examples of some of the things men let go of as they improve their style. Find looks that appeal to you on this site and elsewhere and use them for inspiration.

For a simple outfit, I love the sport coat, jeans, and dress shoes combo. It looks professional, but it's not too dressy either. It's also really simple. If you want a more in-depth view on the look, here's an article.
