Recommendation please: Ipod 'speakers' - Page 3

I bought my wife the Bose Wave Music system with the Ipod connect kit for Xmas. Expensive, yes... overpriced, yes. But, it sounded better to me than any other Ipod speaker I listed to, other than the Zeppelin, and we wanted the ability to play cds/radio as well.

I was damn surprised that I really liked, much less bought, a Bose product, but it's excellent. Can't speak for anything else they make though.

Finally saw the Zeppelin 'in the flesh' today. It's big.

I assume you've probably got headphones now but I would recommend these:

been using a pair for years and the sound quality is pretty good, decent bass output which is pretty important to me as a bassist

Actually, I just got my earphones yesterday. I got a pair of Shure S310Ks, they were a present.

Logitech makes some very good quality 5.1 pairs for the money that have analog input jacks, I suggest looking into whatever Logitech makes for the money you're interested in spending.
Definitely - something like the Swan M-200s.
