Guys what do you think of a cap toe derby with jeans?

Were talking about grain leather, dainite sole and overall chunky look.

What do you think?

I was just reading a few things that the cap toe might be a bit formal, but I don't really know if I would call the Cheaney Tenterden a real formal shoe.

I think unless you're wearing a boat style or moc, you should wear socks. I think the above look isn't very good. I also think that type of shoe looks bad with rolled up pants. So, I think the shoe can work with jeans - assuming socks and not rolling the jeans.
