Slim fit t-shirts that are still broad enough in the shoulders.

My measurements are:
Height: 5'9" with a short-ish torso
Chest: 39"
Waist: 31"
Sleeve length: 34.5"
Shoulders are significantly broader than average.

I've been trying to find a new brand of t-shirt. I don't mind hemming them, but I'd rather not have to fit the waist. I just have uncommon proportions so t-shirts never fit properly. Urban Outfitters BDG shirts used to fit great a few years ago, but now they're super baggy in the body. And it seems most brands including Banana Republic, etc. have made that transition.

I've tried gap, banana republic, american apparel, alternative apparel, guess, j crew, club monaco, zara, h & m, armani exchange, and a handful of others.

The best so far have been j crew slim fit and club monaco size M. But the shoulder seams are still narrower then I'd like. And I think the chest on the j crew was a bit slim for my taste, but I can't remember.

The worst have been alternative apparel and american apparel. The medium fits like a dress and the sleeves are super long.

Any recommendations?
