Handmade Belt

I've just had delivered a beautiful handmade black leather belt, 1 & 1/4 inches wide with a westend buckle in nickel from David's Belts.

There are 2 fixed belt loops/keepers next to the buckle. Would this be viewed as rather informal for business settings, weddings etc?

Sounds like it would be perfectly fine for business and/or weddings.

As long as the buckle is plain, and the belt is lined and stitched and properly finished, rather than a single strip of heavy leather, the belt is probably fine for businesses and weddings

Does the belt cover the stitching when worn?  It's not the biggest deal, but it does take away from the formality a bit.

Fortunately it does. I am very tempted to take one of the loops out. Need to see a specialist though as it may ruin the structure.

The office made belt. When you leave the house late and forget your belt, don't let your colleagues know.

Haha, I am not going to lie - I have used a shoelace before out of Desperate measures...
