Cool Coke Bottles for the holidays

I am not sure what other retailers are carrying them, but Wal-Mart has a holiday 6-pack with straight sided bottles modeled after those used in 1899.

I know a lot of folks had mentioned their fondness of coke in glass, so I thought I would share.

Part of that fondness is that the Coke that used to come in galss bottles used real sugar not high fructose corn syrup.

This is a good point, but i think for a bit of nostalgia people could still pick up the glass bottles the OP is talking about. I saw them a few days ago, and they were actually pretty look cooling.

lol at look cooling. I mentioned them because they were non-traditional coke bottles. I wonder if the government gives Coke incentives for buying corn syrup? I realize that it is less expensive, but I wonder if the government sweetens the deal since Coke owns the majority of its bottling facilities and therefore buys hundreds of thousauns (if not millions) of gallons of the stuff.

i don't think there's any incentive for buying corn syrup given straight to coca-cola - rather, the incentives go straight to the farming groups.
