H. Stockton Atlanta - Official Affiliate Thread - Page 3

So here is that shirt live:

@leftofthedial recommended size medium, which worked out nicely for me. Shoulders are right and sleeve length is good. Body is a moderately full cut without darts. I like the length. Quite long actually. Great for tucking and will work for me untucked in a sort of flowing way I think. I'll wear it untucked certainly.

Linen fabric is terrific. Light and crisp and after a cold wash and hang dry surprisingly unwrinkled.

Also, there's that little "Made in New England" tag in the collar, just for anyone who's familiar with that.

Will be back to try some more shirts from H Stockton. Madras, seersucker popover, and light blue awning strip oxford look good. As to some of the bright yarn dyed plaids. The Stenstroms dobby looks very cool too:

New to Atlanta and glad I now know where to find Trussini here! Will have to stop in one of your stores soon.

@leftofthedial I see that the fit on the Stenstroms shirts is listed as "contemporary fit," so I'd choose the same sizing as the H Stockton contemporary fit?

Welcome to our fair city! I hope you're enjoying it so far. We'd definitely love to see you come by. Our Lenox and Midtown stores carry the widest breadth of Trussini, but we've got some at each location. Definitely let me know when you're gonna come in and I'll try my best to be there.

Stenstroms shirting runs trimmer than our in-house, but not so much so that I would call it a "slim" fit. For you, I would recommend sticking with the same size whereas a more traditional customer I might take up one.

You beat me to it! We've been working on getting everything organized in-store (which has a ton of deals as well, if anyone local wants to swing by!). I'm gonna do a big post with some of my favorite markdowns tomorrow.

Just packed it up! I think you'll really dig the jacket.

Unfortunately not. With Ring Jacket's relatively new distro in the USA, they haven't quite figured out how to scale it for their wholesale accounts. Basically all of the fabrics they offer retailers are ordered and cut to the piece.

I believe the Armoury and Khakis of Carmel are the only retailers stateside that offer it at all (and rarely).

Hopefully this changes in the future!

That emoticon never ceases to make me laugh.

Our sale officially rolled out on Monday and will go most likely until the end of July. We typically do two seasonal sales a year (January and July), but this one is pretty big. On the site we've got some steals, but our in-store has a lot at 50%-60% off. Brands we aren't carrying in future seasons, mostly, but also a few things that we've only got a piece or two left. We have some suiting and tailored clothing from Canali and Hickey Freeman at 25%-50%, all of our Peter Millar is 50% off and a few other odds and ends on deep discount.

I'd be more than happy to field any questions and shoot some info/pics to anyone that may be interested in something that isn't available online.

Without further ado, the following are some of my favorite garments from our sale.

These two Luigi Bianchi Mantova coats are incredible. They're the most "formal" of our softer-constructed jackets to me, mostly due to the straight-up pocket treatment. The higher blue is a great option to your standard blues and the grey check is one of the most versatile grey coats I've seen. Both are incredibly light and comfortable.

Luigi Bianchi Mantova Dream Blazer - $746.25

Luigi Bianchi Mantova Grey/Navy District Check - $746.25

I know Hickey Freeman doesn't get a ton of love on SF, but their softer models have blown me away this season. This Oatmeal check in particular is just incredible. The color palette, the feel of this 130s cloth and the soft shoulder really makes this coat something special. Aside from our coats from Ring Jacket, this is my personal favorite piece of tailored clothing that we have in the store right now. I love that it has the classic Hickey look, but not the insanely padded shoulders of the Boardroom model.

Hickey Freeman Oatmeal Check - $896.25

Vetra jackets are now 50% off. I love the history and quality of this company and the cotton/linen fabric is insanely comfortable on even the hottest days we've had so far here in Atlanta. This type of coat is just so easy to wear, hence the reason we've had a lot of guys pickup both colors. They can also take a beating, since they're made to the same standards that Vetra has been producing since workwear was actually worn to work!

Vetra Cotton/Linen Chore Jacket - $125

This makeup is one of the coolest balmoral shoes I've seen. Black suede seems to be a leather that is rather underutilized, in my opinion. It's a versatile leather than can read anywhere from black to green to navy, depending on the light and I think the antique brown edge trim really sets it apart from nearly any other black shoe. I think it's a great biz-caz shoe that's also great for Spring/Summer events like an outdoor wedding or a Derby party. I think they're pretty damn cool.

Alden for H. Stockton Black Suede Medallion Captoe - $446.25

We've got a few Stenstroms shirts and this really gnarly Eton shirt at 50% off. They're two of the coolest shirts we've got at the moment. Both shirts are also a little more tapered than our standard in-house shirting.

Eton Awning Stripe - $130

Stenstroms Light-wash Denim - $117.50

Last, but certainly not least, our Tailored fit Oxford cloth shirts. These are 50% off and, in my opinion, a steal at $72.50. This is the trimmest fit we have offered and the fit I personally make for myself. It's got enough room to move, but definitely fits in the "slim" category.

H. Stockton Tailored Fit Blue Oxford - $72.50

H. Stockton Tailored Fit Blue University Stripe Oxford - $72.50

H. Stockton Tailored Fit White Oxford - $72.50

My tobacco Vetra arrived yesterday and straight into rotation today. Fit is great and it's really comfortable on this warm-ish day. Lucky for my wallet the blue is sold out in my size or I might grab that too!

My pics don't do it justice!

@duff406 what size did you go with?
I went with XL. I usually go between L and XL and this fits good.

Saw this on the H Stockton Instagram:

Would love to see this in a heavyweight corduroy. Would have a very old school hunting coat feel to it.
