without hesitation, R&G lounge...

soy sauce chicken, deep fried crab and three treasures are pure ecstacy.

Eric's is really very good as far as the quality goes. It may be the best in the city as far as that goes.

I was recently at the SF Airport, and noticed that it was the Fung Lum restaurant. Last year, I distinctly remember it was Harbor Village.

Either way, Fung Lum used to have some outlets in Northern CA as well.

i always liked it. but it's not for everyone. last time i was there, the toilet backed up, causing to diner room to smell like shit. really nasty.

but the food is dirt cheap and amazing.

It's hard for me to imagine that anybody ever thought it the best. It has never been as good as a place like R&G, but it is a local institution, and for greasy spoon Chinese, it is pretty unbeatable.

I think the deep fried crab may be the best dish in San Francisco, period.

Harbor Village is in the International Terminal just before you go through security.

Yank Sing for dim sum although you should be aware it is pricey and probably overpriced.
