Stop power lifting! Kidding....I just had bilateral hernia surgery in February. Just get them fixed and you'll be good as new. Nice fit.

Thanks @EFV .  As I rarely wear a cardigan, I found those comments very helpful.

Poll is up!

I'm another bilateral inguinal hernia guy. Mine were direct. I had laparoscopic surgery via the extraperitoneal approach. Brilliant result.

I don't expect votes for my entry, as I am indeed non-compliant.

For my money, Anden leads the field here. His cardy is a fully integrated element of the fit, rather than just being some quirky flash of colour poking out from under the lapels of a jacket.

Voted for Cleav: his outfit even prevented me to multi-vote. Awesome stuff!

Now that entries are closed, I have a question.  Why are the top buttons on the cardigans of several of the entrants not buttoned?

I leave my top button undone on cardigans  (of course, I rarely wear them) partly because I think it helps the slightly relaxed aesthetic and partly because it feels more comfortable to me.

If I am wearing one without a jacket I often leave the top two undone.

I found this very helpful, Cox in going through and sifting the good, but quite different entries.

I mainly do it to show a bit more of the tie, if I wear one. Silly? Yeah, maybe.

Same reason for me as well.

I'm against it; I think it looks awkward. Like wearing a 3-button suit as a 2-button but not steaming or re-pressing the lapels, so these two loose corners that were obviously meant to be attached end up jutting towards each other without quite meeting.

Jeez.

I voted for him too, but I mean fuck ME, you know?
