Hey SF,

I did a quick search and didn't come across an official thread for AKOG so I thought I should start one up. Any fans? I find their stuff to be quite amazing. Some of it feels quite like Our Legacy in regards to textile choice, and fit, but with a bit more of a serious tone for good measure. I find the clothes, and collections, to be quite wearable for almost anyone.

What do you guys think? Do you have much interest or experience with the brand?

A couple images to kick things off:

There is a thread somewhere, buy I like new blood. We covered them at Pitti about 2 years ago.

Iirc, cool brand of Streetwear basics that came out of a student project, right? Interesting materials and color.

AKOG is incredible. I only own a couple pieces because duty makes it so expensive, but I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality and fit.

Every collection and lookbook is spectacular IMO. I love the vibe and I think their women's stuff is often just as good. FW14 being my favorite (for women's).

I think the comparison to OL is a good one, although I feel OL has distanced themselves over the past few years. They are a little more... avant garde(?) now.

Very slept on brand I would say. Probably because their stylings aren't so flashy. Can look very conservative but I think their texture sets them apart from being too bland.

I almost want to stay quiet and keep this gem to myself ;)

Previously you could find lots of nice pieces on sale but this year it looks like mostly everything got snatched up quick. They are definitely getting more popular. I regret not copping some things because I waited for them to go on sale.
