Yes, I don't really think rear pockets add to the look of trousers, so not having them does not detract.

this is my favorite trick.
i save old date labels and put them in one of my customers new shirts.
so when the wife mentions that she has never seen the new shirt, he just shows her the date label from 2 years ago.

Need to find a bespoke tailor with a bunch of H&M labels.
