PSA: Crockett & Jones Belgrave handgrades $325

I stopped by SF to check out the Bullock and Jones shop, and it was closed down. Are they going out of business? I came home and looked at the site, and it's unclear. However, they have a ton of items on clearance, one of the most notable being real Belgraves, not for polo, for $325. They still have quite a few sizes. I thought about buying a bunch and trying to flip them for $400 but I decided it's not worth the trouble. Having a real retailer in the US shipping these is quite rare. I would buy a pair for myself if I didn't already have Bentons. I would much rather prefer the blue CJ box and bags Their other CJ loafers are also on similar clearance, as are a lot of their other shoes, jackets (samuelsohn), etc. http://www.bullockandjones.com/prod..../?cid=57&rid=5

it sounds like the width is given in english sizes, does this imply its english sizing?

Personally, I would think they convert to US. but if you are serious about purchasing, call their 800 number and ask. Or buy 2 sizes.

The langham and the roseberry loafers are also marked down. Anyone find out whether this is US or UK sizing?

I saw they had closed the other day as well. It's too bad but I never felt when they reopened that they ever had the right mix of merchandise.

ordered some belgraves and langhams both in black both size 12. theyll fit either way, altho im actually kinda hoping they are uk sizing. ill report back when i get them, but that wont be until after xmas and im outta town until the 3rd. good luck everyone.

arnach, don't marry her, she might stop buying you shoes after you marry her. Did anyone find out if the sizes are marked in US or UK?

I am interested in the size clarification as well. I called the 1-800 number and have been on hold for a while ~ the last 15 minutes ... it doesnt appear as if anyone is there.
