On the two zip-cardies, would SNS consider changing the zippers to 2-way/both-end action versions?

And would titan grey or black be a possibility (just by adding comment to the order then, or needs a dedicated order link to avoid mishap?)?

Hi,  Thanks.  We really tried.

We can't change the zippers, unfortunately.  It would cause havoc on their sewing facilities, which are not geared for one offs/aka sample making.

Yes, we could do "titan grey" or "black hole".  You can just write the color ("titan grey" or "Black Hole") into the comments, since I have to translate everything into SNS Herning ordersheet talk anyway, but if you prefer, I can also make a link for you.

Cheers,

Fok.

I take a size S in the Stark (fits well -- a little bit of extra room in the shoulder, a little bit long in the sleeve, and a tad wide in the waist, but all pretty close to right). Is the advice that I should be safe to size down one in the human crew and manual jacket? Or better to stay with a small? I'd be happy with a close fit in both.

I can't speak for sure, but if you are looking for a tight fit, you might consider sizing down. Jasper is sized down for pretty much everything, in a medium, rather than his usual large, so that should give you some idea of relative fit.

Thanks @LA Guy! I'm traveling until the end of weekend so will make a decision once I get back. Though now when I think about it, leaning slightly towards human in titan gray since I have a GRP rollneck in black and something in charcoal would be nice.

Well, just tell me, but black is now an options without a note. If you just write in the note, that's cool too. But if you want a link, I can do that as well.

Ok guys, I'm in for the hoodie. Thanks for running this preorder. I know it's a lot of work!

I ordered an XL, but I'm wondering if I should have got a Large... I ordered the XL because that's what I have in the Stark cardigan from last year. That fits just fine, but I understand the current fit on that is a bit slim.

Normally I need a shirt with a 44" chest. I wear a Formosa jacket in 42. Inglese shirts in 42. Consistently a large in inis meain knitwear.

What do you guys think? @LA Guy @Synthese others?

Thanks for any advise!

Hmmm...  Well, it's between an L and and XL.  Jasper is wearing a M, and it was tight on him.  He is typically a size 42.  I saw him try on the size 42 Solaro once at No Man (that was... Eidos?) and it was a bit large on him.

The stark fits particularly small.  If you re between sizes, I would size up for the Stark.  Frankly, I think that all other SNS Herning fits TTS or even a bit larger.  For reference wrt knits, I am a medium in Inis Meain, which fits me "normal" to relaxed, in some cases.

Hope that helps.

We can change your order, no problem if you email styleforummarket at gmail dot com with the order number.

Cheers,

Fok.

@LA Guy

Tack for the reply, Fok.
I'll marinate a moment over which one/s I "need". In that regard, no probs in putting the colour choice into the order comment box. wink.gif

I would say you could go either way depending in fit preference. For something like the hoodie I always prefer slightly oversized as opposed to tight. Tight zip up can give you that weird man boob look. But if you intend to wear it mainly open and rarely zipped then L may give you the right fit.

I love that hoodie and I am just trying to decide between titan grey and blue brains. Tough freaking call...

is "black hole" the same as these from end? http://www.endclothing.com/us/brands/sns-herning/s-n-s-herning-stark-crew-675-cr3-u1001.html

I wear a 46XL jacket when I can get it. Will any of these fit a bug guy?

Get both?  Then, no ragrets (not a single letter.)

It's hard to say - The color names change seasonally, and depend on the theme of the collection.  But it's black.

Well, I wear a size 40, straight up, and M fits me "normal" for most of the knits.  So, a 2X should fit you, though you might want to stay away from the Stark, which is more fitted.  Danes are not small people...

Honestly I am more concerned about sleeve length than body fit.

If the sleeve is not exceptionally long, it will be too short. My sleeve length is 37-38 inches, depending upon cut, etc.

Hmmm.... Yeah, I dunno, tbh. I have a long wingspan for my height, (5'11". but wingspan of a 6'1" man), and in the knits I have of theirs, they are from "right length" to "a bit long, cuff fold needed, or at least, can be done".  My sleeve lengths for things like jackets typically need to be 1" longer than for stock sizes.   That said, I don't know what a 2X would be.  I can try to email Soren, if you can tell me the exact piece in which you are interested, but he is not the fastest emailer in the world.

Cheers,

Fok.
