1. Can I do the hooded piece in the darker Titan grey?
2. SNS fits do vary piece to piece and season to season. Any chance for some measurements?
Email to email@example.com. Please be patient. If you email me tonight, I'll try to get up a link for you, but it is Sunday, and I have been working all day already. Even I am not truly Superman. Lol. I just thought of a joke. No one else try to tell it.
1. Yes, we can do that. Just email firstname.lastname@example.org with the request, and I'll make a new listing for it for you. It might take up to 24 hours, mainly because I am (really) a robot, and I need to eat, sleep, workout (lol, who would even know), etc...
2. Unfortunately we do not have measurements. That said, measurements on knits are not a particularly good guide for sizing knits, because knits stretch so much and the knit pattern affects fit a lot. A model is actually a much better call for a knit. @Synthese is a pretty standard size 42. He is wearing the samples in the pictures, which are all medium. They are all about a size small, though he can rock it pretty well. I would suggest a M for a size 40 in that piece, and a size L for a size 42, etc...
If you want darker, you want the blue brain, which is a dark navy - close to a midnight.
Soren and I decided together to highlight the key season items. The process: while @oisin and @Synthese sweated through a photoshoot, I drank tea, ate a few cookies, and chatted with Soren about technology, which was the theme of the collection, knitting techniques, the long history between Styleforum and S.N.S. Herning, and cool sweaters, and thought about how best to highlight the collection and to do something more than just show Styleforum members and readers the pieces, to really let them be a part of the story.
Unfortunately, I don't have any pics of anything in titan grey where the color came out well. It's a dark charcoal, which is actually hard to capture, though not as hard as black. Anyway, it's a charcoal without much blue tones. I suppose that it looks a little like the color in the Styleforum nav bar. A bit lighter, depending on your monitor.
And yeah, I don't expect to see many monde green starks. For that, I would size up to an XL for a size 42 for a fitted sweater, and XL for a relaxed sweater.
Both are good choices. One is charcoal, one is midnight/dark navy. It really depends on what your wardrobe calls for more. The GRP has a "softer" look, and the SNS Herning has a "crisper" look and feel, so the will complement each other well.
These are their usual run. I tried on the samples. I am a 5'11" and a size 40, and the crewneck fit well/regular on me. @Synthese modeled these in a medium, and they were probably size too fitted on him. He is 6'2, and a size 42. Opinions about what constitutes a good fit is very subjective, and if you like a looser fit, you can go that way, of course.
