Hello everyone!

After being a passionate reader of this forum for years, I finally decided to write my first post.

The reason why is that I am in the process of starting a label which in a nutshell will aim to offer great contemporary menswear, but made with as much time and care as the very best handcrafted garments, while I know this is not entirely possible as it is going to be ready to wear, and won't be priced at 4000€ a suit, I am planing on including as many hints of time consuming hand craft as possible (handmade buttonholes, Milanese, hand sown linings etc) But it will be applied to a slightly more unusual silhouette than usual.

I have used the last six years studying fashion design and handcraft in Paris, and I am sick and tired of people from my own generation who don't know what real quality is (mostly because they trust all of the big fashion houses when they say what they offer the best of the best) But I believe that most people will appreciate great handwork if it is shown in a context they can understand. So I'm going to give it a shot.

Now my problem is that I have been in contact with a few of the more known tailoring manufacturers I Italy (Belvest, St Andrews, Caruso, D'Avenza etc) and although I don't doubt their abilities for a second they all have larger minimums than what we can produce at this point.
The main reason is that we are planing on doing mostly made-to-order the first few seasons.

So my question to you is if any of you know a smaller manufacturer, or maybe just a larger tailoring atelier who could manage a production of less than 200 garments a year spread out on around 16 styles, and as little as one suit in a specific fabric?

I would greatly appreciate all the help I can get!

Kind regards.
