I'm a denim guy...wear jeans just about everywhere. But my wife says NO to jeans at a funeral or wedding. I don't like wearing what you would typically call "slacks" (i.e. wool or poly pressed pants). So I'm looking for a pair of black cotton pants that fit pretty much like jeans do. I'd dress it up with a nice button up shirt, tie, nice shoes and a blazer. What I really wanted, because I like the way they fit/feel and the heavier fabric weight, is something like a pair of black Kuhl brand pants, but the wife says that's too outdoors-ish. I think that's more because of the brand's marketing that anything else, so I may end up having to over rule her, but that's usually a bad idea.

Does anyone know of anything that meets my criteria that I should look at?

Thanks,

Grey

Try Rouge Territory Officer Trousers in stealth. I would recommend sizing down at least one Sz though. I believe they are made of a lightweight Japanese denim.
