Do you wear your pocket flaps in or out

If you don't like the look of flaps all or part of the time, buy coats without them. Will

I generally prefer besom to flap pockets, but I find the flaps in pocket look to be a poor compromise - sort of like rubber soled "dress" shoes.

I like both looks. It depends on the circumstance: If the jacket has a ticket pocket, flaps are a must. If I purchase a RTW item that is Regular and not Short, I normally look for a jacket that has besom pockets, since when the length of the jacket is cut, the obviousness of this is less apparent than with flap pockets. At the same time, opened besom pockets tend to sag after a while, especially when regularly used. With a flap however, the same sagging is not noticeable, since it covers the pocket. Jon.

Very true.

Out, as the sartorial gods intended. Unless I have absent-mindedly shoved something in a pocket and forgotten about it. Then one would be in and one out. I usually only do this when I am drunk though.

Is anyone else tired of these polls bumping up every time someone votes? It's kind of irritating, and I can turn it off. A second? Yeas, nays?

Yes. Although it is funny when someone gets all riled up by a post made six months ago, by a member that doesn't post anymore. Flip switch, please. Also, thanks for enabling capital letters in the thread titles - the all-lowercase format was a little odd.
