I'm guessing you're not in Seattle right now then? I see no snow, and you got me all excited

As a rule I'm no fan of snow, but having purchased this bad boy

Let it snow! Let it snow!

I'd like to see this purported 50' snow ejection distance

He had to turn around on the way up to the Pass trying to get to Spokane for Xmas because one of his chains broke. He's making another go at it right now.

The Pass seriously sucks right now. 2-3 hour backups, chains required with enforcement checks, etc.

I hate ice more. I can't drive down my bloody driveway, it's four inches solid of ice. And you can't plow ice.

Last year when we got snowed in in February, my apartment's driveway area was covered in ice and snow. I noticed that if I were to get partway out and start sliding, I'd probably be out of control going down a 30 degree slope, likely backwards, and probably crash at the bottom and die. So I got to spend a few days inside and live off of what I had in cans.

That was right after I got semi-stranded in my car in full funeral dress including my EG captoes, which performed surprisingly well in the fresh snow. Note to self, do not take chains out of the car for any reason. Make room for them somewhere. The day you take them out, it will snow on you.

I'd vote va beach as having some of the worst snow drivers in the US.

How do you guys live like that?

I moved from NYC to Houston, Tx. in 1977.

I miss a lot of things about NYC, but snow is not one of them
