Anyone know the sizing of these compared to euro sized MMM GATs? Looks like the exact same sole.

And is this an accurate color representation of the alabaster?

Edit: Any branding on the tongue?

Yep, that is a good take on alabaster and no, no branding on the tongue (at least, on all versions they have done so far)

How is the width on these compared to MMM? I know the actual German army trainers were narrower than the MMM version.

I take a 44 in MMM GATs and 44 in the Epaulet GATs. MMM feel a little wider and shorter. My 44 epaulet ones are a little narrow on width for my wider foot but going up would make them too long.

I sold all my MMMs though, couldn't justify the terrible leather even at the ~275 or so I paid per pair. Sole is similar design but not sure if same maker. I find the Epaulet one more durable wear wise

In that case, I'm in.  Bought a pair of MMM cream camel leather GATs a while back which looks like an identical colorway/iteration to the alabaster model.  Funny enough, the leather oxidized/yellowed to the point that they were unwearable.  Been looking for an alternative ever since (old model) and these fit the bill.

Woof on the ship date though

Update: We are now up to 40 pairs bought.

is the july ship date just a placeholder date/rough estimate, or will they really not ship out until then?

don't mean to come off as impatient, just curious

It's a conservative estimate.

My foot is a bit wide, I wear a 9 in wolverine 1000 mile boots, and a 9.5 fits well for a vans authentic. Would you recommend a 43?

I am about a size larger, and take a 44, so I would say that a 43 is a good bet.

so i went to join the drop, but the sizing chart is a little confusing

according to it, a us 8 = an eu 40.5, but i've always thought that an 8 corresponded to a 41

i wear an 8 in vans authentic and a 41 in mmm gats (both of which fit snug), so which us size do i choose? 8 or 8.5?

Same question - I usually go for a 12/45, but the 11.5 is marked a 45. Any advice on whether I should go with with the 11.5/45 or the 12/46?
