Hi all,

I'm new to the forum but a keen reader of many of the threads.

This isn't exactly a unique request, but trying to find ready to wear shoes in this style in either black and white or brown and white with a nice almond toe shape and with not a thick chunky sole has been extremely difficult. There's load of wing tips available via loake etc but I far prefer the the coloured Oxford style toe cap / with the coloured galosh style

I think it's called a spectator shoe?

Can anyone here point me in the right direction? If it has to be made to Measure or bespoke, can someone point me in the direction of a UK or European shoe
Maker?

Something like these in black and white or brown and white is what I'm looking for but in quite a sleek design sole wise - not too thick / chunky a sole.

Many thanks in advance!

You really should not shop on line or on film stars' web sites - start with a place who actually offers a choice before becoming fixated on the impossible to the extent that everything else is substandard.

I think it's called a spectator shoe?

Edward Green and Crockett & Jones both make spectators. EG has a style very similar to your example in their current online catalog. C&J has a more wingtip-style on their site just now. Brooks Brothers also usually has a spectator style in the spring.

EG does have a MTO program whereby you can customize a shoe like the Malvern, but I have no information about how that works.

Thanks for the advice @GBR I wasnt looking at film stars or online. Also those shoes in grey and black are available Bespoke but I'm not sure about the toe shape of that last.

Any other suggestions? I'm in London next week

Thanks

@marcodalondra thanks for coming back to me.

Yes I think mtm from Edward Green may be the best option maybe on their 202 last or the sleeker more almond shaped 82. Something like this

But more in this shape

Anyone have any ideas of where I should go if not
Edward Green?

Many thanks
