Hemingway: "Every man's life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another." - Ernest Hemingway

He was a Nobel-Prized winning writer and an adventurer. His writing has a strong influence in 20th century fiction. Shortly after his famous novel - The Old Man And The Sea, he then went on safari to South Africa. It's the reason why most of his photographs are seen in a safari jacket. Our product is named after him as a tribute.

  • Hidden button placket with four bellowed pockets

@CraftsmanCo can you guys post suede colors here for that jacket?

The Hemingway is astonishingly beautiful. I love how you guys engender a sense of exploration, romance, and historicism into your work. Really adds a special touch to your pieces.

I'm probably getting ahead of myself here, but would Craftsman Clothing consider doing waxed hunting jackets one day? I'm basically thinking of Barbour's waxed hunting jackets (especially the Bedale SL), but my issue with them is their cuts are very large... it can be like wearing a tent almost.

Wow. Is elephant brown the far right in the second picture? Sorta Greyish brown?

You got everything correct. Greyish brown and below is our Canton A-1 in elephant brown.

Not even SL fit in size 34? I know classic one is huge but SL cut is quite slim and it gives room to wear a sportcoat underneath.

We would consider doing waxed jacket but I just think Barbour is unbeatable for a waxed jacket.

Unsurprisingly, I love the Hemmingway. Will you guys offer it other fabrics, such as cotton, linen, etc. at some point?

First outing of the jacket. It is about 60-70 degrees and I'm very comfortable with it on running errands during the day.
