Sartorial Leather Jackets by Craftsman Clothing - Official Affiliate Thread - Page 2

@CraftsmanCo "Nathan" jacket looks really nice--very interested! Could you clarify if the fur is synthetic or natural (and if so, which animal)? Also, could you post photos of the colors "midnight navy,"  "noir," and "oak"? I assume midnight navy is a pretty deep navy color, but am confused on noir since you also list "black" as an option for the lambskin. Same confusion about "oak" since you also mention "brown."

Thanks!

Measurement is tricky and very depend on how you want your jacket fit.
I noticed young guys tend to wear A2 very short and tight for example.

Can you provide your garments measurement for each measurement points listed above for each size?
Hi @bamboo, a suede A1 would be a perfect 3-season blouson for spring, fall and winter.

As different people would have different interpretation for fit, our aim is to offer a full made-to-measure service at affordable pricing. Our price truly reflects the crafts and top quality of materials rather than a designer label. There are many traditional manufacturers doing recreation of vintage workwear for flight jackets, also in lovely quality but rather a little boxy and old school in fit.

Our made-to-measure service requires communication with customers in details for fit, preference and any personalised needs. Could you please drop us an email for ordering details and the off the rack size chart?

Hi @cpmt10, A1 would be the best substitute for your BnTailor Suit when you dress casual. What a lovely fitting!

At the early stage, we do more focus on MTM and we are still finalising the specs of our off the rack as we would like to offer both tailored fit and classic fit.

Yet, we are happy to meet you in person regarding fit and specific needs you are looking for. Please feel free to drop us an email.

@CraftsmanCo

Are there photos of the Navy and Olive Brown lambskin swatches and the Navy suede?

Is that Chocolate Brown suede in the first series of photos?

Beautiful stuff!

Similarly would love to see a swatch of the olive suede! Have a feeling I'll be placing an order for an
A-1 in the next week or two.

Hi @Death24xASecond, the fur is 100% sheepskin.

Sorry to have confused you in our color offering. They actually refer to different leather and colors so we've used different names. Please see below our leather and color options. Hope this clarifies.

@02///M3 @Foxhound @sacafotos
thanks guys I've updated some pictures of the leather swatches.

Our Canton jacket (A1) in lambsuede with Bemberg lining will be the best-fit weekday/weekend blouson for coming spring.

It is interesting how Asia does American Style better than we do in many cases...

Is the suede jacket being shown snuff or chocolate brown?

Interesting, but not very surprising. The New Yorker had a fascinating piece on it recently: http://www.newyorker.com/culture/culture-desk/stalking-the-wild-madras-wearers-of-the-ivy-league
