Most likely from Japan. I am interested in getting some non-shinki himeji horsehide which I think is only available within Japan. But I will need to know if craftsman clothing is willing to do CMT and how much they charge first.

What colour you plan for? non-shinki kimeji horsehide seems great and that's ex tacky what I'm looking for since A2 is supposed best with horsehide, if you don't mind, may I join you?

This was MTM, and overall, I find the fit pretty good. This being my first leather jacket, I must say I'm no expert, but this is definitely a quality product.
The construction / stitching is really clean throughout, and the color of the polo suede is fantastic. Rich, reddish hue that is accurate to what was shown in their IG feed.
The subtle details like horn buttons, customisable options of hand warmer pockets, bottom snap buttons, choice of ribbing and bemberg linings are an added perk.
The bemberg in particular, I find really good.
Here are some pics. I'm sorry as they were taken with my phone and pretty rushed. I had to rush off for work.

Hey @ThunderMarch, thanks your positive feedback and they are really helpful for our improvement. The fit looks pretty good and the jacket looks awesome on you!

The color of Polo Suede is a lot better in real though!

Hi @skyfall @bloodyj13,

Yes we do CMT if you source some good leather. And we actually can help you source other leathers that we are currently not offering upon requests.

And we're launching a full bespoke service with basted fitting. Stay tuned with us with more information!

One of the most exciting things that we enjoy seeing is when our customers choose daring details; like this turquoise blue stitching pairing with the amazing forest green lamb suede and olive green ribbings.

The result is absolutely stunning and surely, you won't see anyone in the same jacket ever.

Email us to be a part of the designing process to create your very own unique jacket.

Finally it's here! Sorry for the poor pic quality, overall speaking, it totally meets my expectation on size and cutting! For sure its the first of many to come! Don't have the time to check with other details but the leather quality is better than I expect!

Thanks much @bloodyj13!!

@bloodyj13's Polo Suede Canton Jacket is the only one pairing with reddish rust ribbing and the result is AWESOME.

I do think the richness of color of the polo suede is something else. One of these days I'll try to take proper pictures of the jacket in good / natural lighting.

True.. phone camera can hardly capture the richeness and real color of the Polo Suede.

Gents, dont miss the lovely green suede above!!

well, i can see there is kind of gussets on the armpit of the G1, it's great to keep the details of original design!

Correct! Except the luxury leather and sartorial fit we apply to our jackets with a twist, we made exactly to the original specifications and the underarm gussets are one of the remarkable details for our Nathan G-1 Jacket. The fur collar can provide extra wind protection with throat closure.

On top of the side entry hand-warmer function, the left pocket contains a hidden pen pocket.

Perhaps you're looking for something that is a bit more versatile?

We've got you covered; our Canton A-1 in Navy lambsuede with same tone ribbings.

That's my navy suede A-1! I got it in just about 5 weeks, which is blazing fast IMO.

Not going to post more pictures because I doubt I'd be able to top the ones above. My initial impressions of the jacket are great. Admittedly, I'm not really an expert in material or craftsmanship, but the jacket is beautiful and I can't find any flaws, defects, loose stitching, etc. In terms of fit, they pretty much nailed it. The shoulders and jacket length are spot on, which to me are the most important part since they can't really be altered. The only issue I have, if you can call it that, is that the jacket is fairly roomy in the body. That could just be the style of the A-1, but others I've tried in my size (i.e. Valstar) felt slimmer. Regardless, it's only really noticeable if the jacket is buttoned, which I don't plan to do much. Moreover, I reached out to the Craftsman guys about it and it sounds like they are willing to help out if I decide to have it altered. Will see what my tailor thinks.

Bottom line, if you are in the market for a jacket like this, I definitely don't think you can go wrong with Craftsman. Not only is the jacket beautiful and exactly what I was looking for, the customer service has been righteous. They responded to pretty much all my emails in less than a day, every detail on the jacket was as I requested, and it arrived just when they said it would. I've been in the market for the perfect A-1 for years now (I still remember emailing TOJ about it back in the day) and I'm glad I waited. Those of you expecting jackets soon won't be disappointed.
