Noob question. How do we post pics? Do we embed from a image hosting site? Or do we just insert attachments?

I would love to contribute in this thread!

You can post your own pics, or you can post pics from a web address (such as internet hosting, Google pics or really any image with an image-related address).

When you want to post a pic in your post, click on the icon up above the box that you're typing in that looks like two small mountains with a sun (or moon) above it. It's up and to the right, next to the icon that looks like a strip of old-fashioned film (that's the icon that you use for linking to Youtube and other video).

If you want to upload from your computer/phone, then you can browse to your images folder and choose the image. If you want to link to an online pic, you can insert the address, too. Then, just click post and it will appear in your post.

Speaking of Nomos, they just landed on Massdrop if anyone's interested. Club model. gorgeous watch. I prefer the lugs on it over their other offerings.. If you wanted a Nomos Club at a bit of a discount..
Holding my breath until they release the blue-faced Lamda in stainless. White gold is a bit pricey for us normal mortals.

Is it coming in steel? Nice. Makes me think Jaquet Droz.

No idea if it's coming in steel. Wishful thinking at this point!

Yeah I did wonder. I don't rate the Nomos value proposition quite the same at precious metal prices.

I get that Nomos offer outstanding value for money, I just dont like the way they look. None of them. Which is really a shame...

I used to have the older 36mm hand-wind club. Terrific little watch with exceptional legibility.

Yes, I get that the looks aren't for everyone. Though I can't see what's not to like about the Club model. :)

The thing is that no other manufacturer in their price range seems to be able to offer as legit of a watch, and their customer-friendly service policy is one of the best in the industry.

We'll see what else they come up with over the years, but they certainly have a distinctive look that they stick to.

that club is gorgeous RogerP, I had the automatic version in my cart for about 5 minutes.. While it doesn't necessarily break the bank at $2400-2500 or so, I don't really need another watch right now, so I can't justify laying down that kind of dough. But it's damn tempting..

would have to agree. I think the new no date sub is one of the nicest offerings. Perfectly balanced and symmetrical IMHO.

Indeed, and I like how the wider case sits. Magnificent. Congrats, Buffy.

Goddamit you guys and your Subs again. And I'm supposed to be saving for the SS/ceramic Daytona!

How's a guy supposed to wait?
